Huskers lose game 1 Friday nighttime MSU with no Jake Meyers who was scratched due to a hand injury. The remaining 5 games on the schedule are basically must wins now.

With the loss the Huskers now sit in 3rd place in conference

Huskers win today 5-2 to even the series. Meyers seems like a game time decision tomorrow to pitch. Could be a big deal as he's something like 7-0 in his last 8 starts.

With the win Huskers are now back in 1st place. That tie really makes things funky so I have no fucking clue what the possible scenarios are. I do know that the only chance they have to keep first for good is to just win out. 4 more games.

That was a gritty gutsy game yesterday but thankfully the Huskers found a way to win with a ailing Meyers who didn't make it past 3 innings with the stitches in his throwing hand.

Mojo had a web gem of a catch in the top of the 9th to end the game.

Need to sweep Penn state to win the B1G. No reason they shouldn't, but that's why they plan the game.

Huskers with 3 conference games remaining are 14-6-1

Minnesota with 5 remaining games sit at 12-6 and could potentially end up 17-6 compared to best case for Nebraska 17-6-1.

Need a Huskers sweep this weekend and at least 1 Minnesota loss to clinch the B1G

Minnesota beats Rutgers in the first game of the double header 6-2. Next game starts at 5 I believe.

Minny needs to lose at least 1 of their remaining 4 games.

I just can't....

Listened to that entire game last night while out fishing. Huskers score have a 3 run lead going into the bottom of the 8th. A 2 run lead going into the bottom of the 9th and somehow end up losing. 4 fucking errors last night. Bad bad loss.

And if that wasn't enough, Purdue was beating Minnesota when the power went out so they will resume the game today. Now need Minny to lose at least two games and Nebraska win out.

I just read up on how Nebraska blew the game. Tough loss for them. The worst part, Penn State sucks.

Technically no. Purdue is beating Minnesota in the 7th when that game resumes today. If Purdue can beat Minnesota twice this weekend and Nebraska wins the remaining two games against Penn State, then I believe Nebraska still wins the B1G.

But my god then didn't do themselves any favors last night.
