SABAN and STRONG are by far and away the two best NSD closers.

But, the difference is that SABAN is also pretty darn good at full season recruits......
STRONG needs to improve that skill and get someone early for once. He cannot always rely on NSD.

Rivals, Scout, and 24/7 all have TEXAS as the highest rated team in the state of Texas and the Big 12.

ESPN has them in 6th place in the league for some reason, maybe not updated yet??

Damndest thing. A month ago no one heard of him and his best offer was Wyoming. Now he has offers from everyone and is headed to Bama.

We never did this with Mack Brown. He only signed one guy ever in his entire 14 years on NSD.
NSD was always boring before Charlie Strong.

Have you seen his film? He played QB most of his career, I haven't seen any film of him in a traditional backfield. Not saying he isn't talented, but it's hard to get a read on a kid with no reps from a power I. I'm sure Saban will mold him into something though. Don't understand how his rating jumped up out of the blue literally overnight.

I saw his highlights and I wasn't all that impressed to be honest. He looked good in the highlights but it was against a bunch of white boys who couldn't tackle for shit.

But if Saban wants him, I want him.

I wasn't impressed either. But I can't fault your logic here. Saban clearly sees something neither of us do.
