I'm not knocking the player as I know nothing of him. But we have 5+ guards and don't really need one. Just like we did not need a LBer. I like what I hear on both guys but we did not need either position drafted.

Almost every mock you can Google, has him as the top rated Guard. Most had him going at the top of the 2nd, some even sneaking intoi the 1st.

I'd say I'm lukewarm about the pick. It's not a bad pick, I just don't like drafting guards early.

I'd disagree, but let me rephrase to be more specific:

I don't like drafting "guards" on day 1 or 2.
