So i'm hoping, man. These luke-cold seasons are becomming tiresome...

Hard to fall any further when you've hit rock bottom.

Next rumour is the Sixers are looking to trade up in order to get Russell. Might mean the Lakers end up getting Okafor at #3 anyway AND next years pick back.

There's a Laker board?

Why didn't I get the invite? :mad2:

We figured that you knew you are always welcome. If you didn't feel that was the case, we'll just blame @DJ :heh:

The Cleveland Cavaliers have repeatedly said they plan on re-signing Kevin Love this offseason.

But executives around the NBA predict the Cavaliers will eventually agree upon a sign-and-trade involving Love. The Cavaliers would be able to recoup rotation players and picks by dealing Love, while also making their big man rotation make more sense.

For Love to be worthy of a max contract, Love needs to be a higher usage player as he was with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

“LeBron (James) needs to have the ball so much for you to be as good as you can be, and you need to be very selective about the guys who get to have it when he doesn’t,” David Griffin said. “You cannot have too much ball dominance around him.”

The Cavaliers are fairly certain to keep Tristan Thompson over Love given the fact that Thompson has the same agent as James.

I saw that from Grantland... I hope that's not the direction things go.

As much as I love Thompson... if both Thompson and Love are going to be getting the max... and the Cavs are only gonna have one of them... I def want Love.

I still think the best route - unless there's some amazing unforeseeable sign-and-trade deal out there - is to keep them all.

Apparently the NBA is going to start offering single-team league pass, as well as other a la carte packages... so you don't have to buy the full league pass if you don't want all the games.

So if Love did sign with Cleveland wouldnt there will a certain time period where Cleveland would have to wait to do the sign-and-trade?

He cant sign a contract longer than 4 years.
And for a sign-and-trade with Love to work, first Love must want to go to that team. Second, Love must be willing to sign a long-term now, and miss out on the summer of 2016 when the salary cap is expected to rise at least 30 percent and the NBA richer will get much, much richer

I like it.

If your favorite Team is not in your Home Market, you can watch all their games and not have to cough up $200.

I used to do the 5 Teams on my Computer deal. But, there are not 5 Teams that I would want to watch religously this year.

Outside of the Clippers, I would like to see Minny and maybe the Bucks if they drafted Looney...and I can always watch whomever is playing the Lakers.

Has he even officially opted out yet?

The Knicks reportedly turned down a Celtics offer of the #14 and #28 plus Marcus Smart for their #3.

Celtics are dangling their four first round picks next year and four second round picks next year. Ainge is also trying to bundle up players and picks for Cousins.

That's how I'm seeing it.

It won't be THAT easy for the Cavs to get Love to sign a 1 year and then deal him.
1. What team will risk assets to possibly rent him for a year (like the Cavs did)?
2. Love has them by the balls, not the other way around. He could tell them he's only signing a 1 year with a no trade clause or a trade clause to only a team he approves.

He tried the same shit deal on Philly for Noel and #3.

Ainge has to realize that every Team is not as stupid as the Clippers.

It's crazy.

The Celtics draft picks:

2015: 2 first-round picks; 3 second-round picks
2016: 4 first-round picks; 4 second-round picks
2017: 1 first-round pick; 2 second-round picks
2018: 2 first-round picks; 1 second-round pick
2019: 2 first-round picks; 1 second-round pick
