Anyone remember Houston's Stagger Lee play in the playoffs years ago?

If he grabs it and falls down it's a touchback, Seattle ball at the 20.

If he attempts to grab it (legitimately tries), but can't handle it and it goes out the back of the end zone, it's a touchback, Seattle ball at the 20 (this is essentially what they called).

If he takes full possession while still in the end zone and then runs out the back of the end zone, it is a safety.

I'm pretty sure on that last one it would still be a touchback so long as he never left the end zone after acquiring possession of the football.

Thanks for the heartfelt condolences! I just appreciate the courtesy they had to suck right away and not gradually do it or fall apart after a decent start.

Can always hang on to "we beat the Mike Vick led Steelers when their kicker shit the bed".

Seriously, how the hell does anybody lose to the Niners right now?!

Eh, when you are 1-5 I dont really care who the 1 win is against.

If you have a QB who can throw downfield, you can beat the Ravens. If Vick had been allowed to air it out the Steelers would have beat them too.

Don't worry, Comeds. I fully expect them to ruin some teams season that's trying to make the playoffs. Could even be the Steelers..

I have a lot of family and friends that are Raven fans. This is quite enjoyable for me. Peter King picked Baltimore to go to the superbowl, and many talking heads in the media had them as a sure fire playoff team. I didn't see this coming.

During the broadcast yesterday the Ravens were in the 2-minute drill and they showed the linemen just ambling up to the LOS, and meanwhile the color analyst was losing his mind! They looked liked they quit late in the second half. Never thought I'd see that from a John Harbaugh led football team.

The Niners don't though, which made it so much more baffling that Kaep was hitting such deep receivers.

Maybe that SB loss still stings him and he decided to be a good QB for a day.

I have it on good facebook authority that it was because the Niners actually had criminal mastermind Tom Brady's help in calculating the exact spot where the Ravens would be kicking a field goal from late in the game and filled a foot-sized hole right under it with Jello pudding.

It is being called Sinkhole-gate.

But Evil Brady done fucked up. This time they got Video.

And before you ask, yes. The Redskins are still being discriminated against by the politically correct police and the refs.

I hear you. As a Skins' fan with the team sitting at 2-4, I have to say this...

This team is really exceeding my lowest expectations!!! :)

I mean, we have been IN some of these games! A few of them we were leading at halftime, against good teams no less. After years of people projecting us as a playoff team and watching us fall short, it's really refreshing to see a team I thought would be 3-13 totally on pace for a 5-11 season.

And we may have found our quarterback!!!!

...of the transition. I mean Cousins can't carry a franchise, but he can give us moderate competency while we wait for that quarterback to arrive!

Defensive players that can tackle! Offensive lineman that can block! We don't have game-breaking players or even moderate talent in some areas, but in others we are downright COMPETENT.

Cheers to the future!! :suds:
