There have been plenty of "WTF?" Super Bowl winning teams. 2012 Ravens, 2011 Giants, 2008 Giants, 2005 Steelers, 2001 Pats, 2000 Ravens...but the fact that the Giants did it twice within three years? I mean. I...how? They were 19-13 in the regular season of those two runs. **Never mind that last part...they went on to the SB you idiot**

End result is that it's really making me hate the NFL more and more. I'm so disinterested now. NFL was at it's peak of popularity the past 7-8 years. Now I could care less.

I'm in the same boat. I watched the end of the game last night, and watched about 15 minutes real time total all yesterday...there was baseball to be watched. I know I'm an anomaly there though.

Also the analyzing and over analyzing of EVERY single friggen play. Why must we sit through 20 minutes of garbage to determine a catch or not? You either caught the goddam ball or you didnt?!!?!

"Looks like a coaches challenge is coming up here, Bob" - I'm thinking to myself, great, I have enough time to take a dump, make myself another drink and complain about something before the next snap.

I'd like to watch a game from the 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, and then compare them to the past few years. The delays have gotten ridiculous. Having a media timeout with every change of possession is nuts enough, but then having it before a kickoff and after? You're literally coming back from commercial for a touchback?

New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings said that he was ordered not to score a touchdown on two late running plays during the club's 27-26 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

The Giants held a three-point lead and had the ball inside the Dallas 5-yard line with under two minutes remaining when Jennings was instructed not to cross the goal-line. New York settled for a field goal and the Cowboys responded with a game-winning touchdown drive.

"On the first-down play, I was told, 'Rashad, don't score,'" Jennings told reporters on Monday. "On second down, 'Rashad, don't score.' I was tempted to say, 'Forget it,' and go score because I could. But I didn't want to be that guy. But definitely, I was asked not to score."

Jennings said he was told not to score in the huddle by quarterback Eli Manning. After the contest, coach Tom Coughlin took blame for the late-game, play-calling snafus.

Jennings asserted he wasn't second-guessing the decision.

"I'm not mad," Jennings said. "We're doing this as a team, and we thought it was best for us not to score at that point. Of course I wanted to, but that's just the football player in you."

So why did Eli throw on 3rd down trying to score and stopping the clock? As the old adage goes, when you throw the ball, three things can happen and two of them are bad.
