Turner has been back at WR
Think it was grades and effort/attitude about being 2nd string
Sophomore defensive tackle Maliek Collins may get a look at defensive end as a pass-rusher, per McKewon. The true sophomore lost 15 pounds during winter conditioning and is now under 20 percent body fat, which he says is making practice much better. Pelini compared him to LSU's Glenn Dorsey.
Comparing A sophomore in Collins to Glenn Dorsey one of the best Dlinemen in the past ten years is a reach but I really hope Bo is right
That is also a bleacher report article......though I did not read
True sophomore defensive tackle Maliek Collins said he lost 15 pounds during winter conditioning, reshaped his body to under 20 percent body fat, and feels more comfortable during his first spring camp. Collins has been impressive at times working against the No. 1 offensive line. He was again Wednesday. Pelini likes what he sees and compared Collins to one of the best defensive tackles he’s worked with: LSU’s Glen Dorsey.
“He’s got that kind of ability,” Pelini said. “He’s got that kind of strength, but also great feet and great movement.”
Pelini said he’d consider using Collins at defensive end as a pass rusher because of his skillset if NU needs more options there. The Huskers are thin this camp at that spot.
It just gets old to me comparing players. Johnny tebow....
Defensive Line is going to be our strength...
