tell me if im wrong here but Newby=Reggie Bush type player?

Reggie was the number 2 player in the country and the number 1 RB out of HS.

No one has looked as good as Reggie out of HS IMO. Not even AP.

I'm impressed with Newby. He's got the Reggie Bush style. Great cuts to make people miss and has an extra gear.

Taylor is hard to judge because he has such a good offensive line.

I could see Newby contributing fairly early, but Taylor will have more competition for his style. ie..Imani Cross

I don't want to go overboard on the analogies, but being rated #1 RB in the state of CA is pretty special. We can rest easy on that position fer awhile.

Same with JJM bringing up Cross. It's hard to evaluate Taylor when he had a bulldozer line.

I'm trying not to jump the gun and jizz all over this place or anything......but when I was watching his videos, I thought he looked exactly like the type of RB that you'd see playing at Oregon.

And they offered him.

he'll add some good depth but that's about it for the next 2-3 years.

Looks like a nice LB prospect honestly.

Newby will be our main back most likely.

His tape is not terrible, but Newby's is off the friggin' charts.

Newby looks to have developed far more RB skillz as of now by looking at the two videos.....

Newby is just faster is all

Taylor appears to have zero ability to make cuts, and he runs upright.........which is absolutely a huge if you're going to be a successful RB.

It all depends on how much he's willing to learn is all......

He has a lot of skillz to develop for sure.

I still say taylor will end up a LB when it's all said and done. That's if he doesn't transfer.

We've been recruiting hard in that area forever. Bo's gone after a bunch of high profile guys from Chaminade and surrounding schools.

Obviously paid off big today.
