any of you guys watch the shrine bowl? walk-on ryker fyfe looked pretty good. most walk on qbs don't work out, but this kid looks like he has some talent. he looks like he could develop into a pretty good dual-threat qb. (apparently they run the wildcat a bit so the first few plays he is at receiver?)

Yeah man I didn't see the shrine bowl but I have seen his tape.

He's got a lot of upside, but his task is daunting to say the least. He chose a hard road that's for sure, but that probably says something about him.

i only watched about 5 min of the shrine bowl but i did see him throw a bomb of a pass to a double covered receiver for a touchdown. the ball looked like a missile. no one could have caught it but his receiver, and i am surprised he caught it because it looked like it was coming in at like 90 mph

Same thing I was saying about 4 months ago when we were just figuring he would walk on.......

The kid averaged like 45 yards per punt in high school...........plus he is just plain athletic. I think he will punt for us though eventually as that is outstanding for a high school punter.
