Haha. Going with my sis. A bunch of us went to the one in Buffalo and she didn't get to go. Plus I needed someone who was a partier and a great hockey fan. She fulfills both.

My brother is organizing the tailgate. Apparently, we're deep-frying a turkey.

You Pittsburghers know how to do it. I'll give ya that. Really wish I could have been at last years. Cheapest tix I found were like 800... Forget that.

150 not bad at all. I woulda paid 300 for a ticket last year, but that was the highest I was going. Fenway, as great as it is, people r*pe those ticket prices. I found a single ticket for like 450, but I was not going solo, lol.

No I doubt I would be able to justify spending as much as people are selling them for.

That blows. A bunch of my family and friends are going. I was trying to get a trip going to Buffalo for the WJC, but no one would commit, so I do know what you're saying there.

I know. Same here. Both tickets were mine; I could have made a quick buck, but what the fuck was I going to do with that money that was better than attending the Winter Classic?

Oh and nice block by Connor. Blocked shots are one of my favorite things about hockey...often such a fearless move. I never had the chance to play ice hockey, but I've played a ton of pickup games starting when I was kid, and I always played defense and I would attempt to block shots by my brother and his friends who were six years older than me. I was black and blue by the end of it, but loved every second.

Goligoski has been up and down this season. Engelland has improved a ton during these few short months and I think he helps some of Golisgoski's defensive lapses. That being said, Gogo has the obvious upside and has been better in his own end during this last handful of games than in the majority of November.
