This game and series is not going the way I thought. We will be a man down to start the 3rd. Not too mention our best player off. I never thought we would be in this position. We are getting killed in every category in this game. For the love of god, why can't we just shoot a puck on net? Why does everything have to be a pretty pass. We are exactly 20 minutes away from being down 3-1.

I just hate that the Devils are in our heads. The first period, they owned us on the forecheck. In the next two, they continued, but we were giving the puck away before they even got to us. Reverses that don't need to happen, trying to squeeze in long pass plays - the ice surface didn't get smaller, guys! The safe plays are still there! Make yourself available, pass back or laterally if you need to, but don't just throw the puck down the boards or behind your net or wherever. Make smart, quick reads and get the puck where it can be gotten to.

Part of the issue also is that the forwards are STREAKING down the ice the second we get the puck, so the D have no outlets.

i thought lavi maybe should have let rinaldo get a start somewhere in these last 3 losses to try and get some spark behind this team. the flyers seem to play better when they are nasty.
