I missed the game today. The highlights and box score tells most of the story, but I still have one question--wtf happened on Revere's error? I didn't see any highlights of the play so I was just wondering how bad it was. I thought Center fielders are supposed to have like 8 errors a season including bad throws. Did he somehow screw up another routine fly ball?

Revere lost sight of the ball in the retractable dome at CBP

Revere had his glove on the ball and should have caught it. I think he was a split second from making contact with the wall or had just made contact and that caused him to focus on not becoming a paraplegic. It seems like there was a little misjudgement which caused him to be late and therefore forced to make a runnning catch near the wall. Maybe that's what Samuel was discussing with him in the dugout. Anyone else see it like that?
