Yep - was telling others the same earlier today - best NFL week I can remember for a while. This was also a reminder that the Redskins are heading in the rt direction (regardless of what happens moving forward). We will see what happens.

It has been funny checking back post game today. The team played so well and won by so much that there are few people here post game QBing. LOL Us poor Redskin fans hardly know how to be on the good side of a blowout.

I have a few post game notes:
It is great to see McCloughan standing near the entrance to the locker room shaking hands and hugging players and coaches. I really feel like we are headed in the right direction.

Loved Big Swaggy "liking that"

Happy to see Perry Riley come back from a tough game with such a good game. Happy to see Compton do well too.

Brees threw for less than 300 yards? A lot less. Are we talking about Drew Brees? Great job D.

How cool was it to see Cousin's give the game ball to his Dad who was back for the first time since he was diagnosed with cancer?

Game turning point. I believe the game was tied on Skins up by a little when faced with a 4 and less than a yard Payton went for it. Kind of long for Forbath. Skins stoned them. Saints never scored again while the Redskins scored again and again.

Maybe I am wrong but I don't remember seeing T Robinson or J Johnson during the game. I believe Barry used an extra CB against the Saints. Will have to check that sometime today.

I don't want to give one guy a lot of credit because I felt like this was a team win and everyone played well. Most of all it is fun to not have something to bitch about on Monday. Hail to the Redskns!!!!

Great post. What I also find very satisfying is to watch the maturation process of KC. He is by no means there, and could very easily lay an egg next week. But he is improving. His decision making is better, his leadership is showing just how the rest of the team reacts to him. Who knows, we may have a keeper and can thank Shanahan for that.

Yeah great call on the game changing on that 4th down stop. D played very well but the key to limiting Brees was to keep him on the sideline and that's what the offense did. How about starting the game with a 96 yard drive?

Very very happy for Kirk. He looks to be the guy we will ride for the next few years, let's hope he continues to develop.
