- Would not believe that A.J. Jenkins beat his man by a yard or so early in the 1st quarter after Maiocco confirmed it from the press box.

- Said the team is now "in complete disarray" in the first quarter.

- Harbaugh "f****d up" the QB change.

- "Until the OL learns how to pass block, they won't win a game."

- Said after the Dolphins first FG that if the Dolphins score 13 points, the game is over.

- Said there were multiple 3-and-outs during the game when there were none at that point in the game.

- Kaepernick "can't get it done on any passing down."

- Said "Kaepernick only completes passes on 1st down when the defense is surprised."

- Towards the end of the first half, he said the defense has a better chance of scoring in the 2nd half than the offense does.

- Accused Kaepernick of being as scared to get rid of the ball as Alex Smith.

- Said the 49ers would be held to a FG after Spillman got his recovery on STs. (Gore scored a TD on the drive).

- Early in the 3rd quarter: "I smell OT again."

- A couple of minutes later, he said it would go to OT again. (Said it twice in 1 minute, in addition to the previous time above).

- He said it a 4th time after Carpenter's 50+ yard FG.

- Laughed at Walker for lining up incorrectly in the 3rd.

- Said Moss' drop in the endzone is "gonna cost 'em."

- A few minutes later he said for a fifth time that the game was going to OT.

- A few minutes later he said for the sixth time that it was going to OT (after a Goldson missed tackle).

- In a response to somebody he said "when we blow the lead in this game."

- He accused the 49ers players of thinking the game was over in the 3rd quarter.

- Late in the 3rd quarter he said for a 7th time that the game was going to OT.

- Said the 49ers are vulnerable to the TE. Presented with the fact that the 49ers are a top 8 defense in defending the TE (no response from him).

- Accused the 49ers of forgetting that the offense gets 4 downs.

- Said again to Clyde that he would "be right" about the game going to OT (8th time now).

- Said the 49ers "can't run out the clock" when they have to.

- Just before the 49ers put it away, he said the team "can't get it done when it counts."

Absolutely no sign of him just before and after Kaepernick sealed it with his long rushing TD.

Am I missing anything?[/QUOTE]

Yes; all of my posts in that thread that were complimentary of the 49ers. I bet you can find at least 20-30 of those. But then that wouldn't fit your agenda now would it.

I found this column on internet trolling.

Column: Why internet trolls exist and why they’re unlikely to go away

Provocative

This also relates to the one per cent rule – for every person creating content online, there could be as many as 99 more simply watching. Participation inequality like this means that when you post something and two or three people reply, it might feel like a private conversation, but there’s probably three hundred people watching. Moreover, when no-one replies, you might write increasingly provocative posts – to simply see if anyone is listening.

No punishments

This is engenders things like disinhibition (opening up, saying and doing things that you normally wouldn’t) deindividuation (losing your sense of self and becoming more likely to go along with the mood of the crowd) and possibly even dissociation (losing awareness of one’s surroundings and context). It’s also possible to be an asshole on the internet. Most don’t, some do – but why?
There’s no straightforward answer, but I believe it goes back to the super dreamy wonderclub idea of the internet that we’ve bought into. It assumes we’re all nice people, and the reality is that we aren’t: some people actually are assholes. The reason why this is more prevalent online is simply because there are no rules, no morality, and no punishments.

Offline, ‘in real life’, because assholes exist, we have laws and a legal system to deal with them; online, there is barely a clear code of conduct: nothing really happens when someone is an asshole. Only recently has it actually happened where people have been convicted of crimes online, which for decades they would have been instantly arrested had they done so anywhere else.

You can. Go to someone's public profile, and click on User Lists right under their name. There's an Ignore feature there.

I tried this, but it says I do not have permission to access this page. Can a moderator help me with this? Thanks!

You might have to get your post count up above 50 before you can access that part of SportsHoopla.

Dude gets off on the attention. That's why he is not welcome on the Giants board.

That is the only way to deal with him.

Right on Yossarian! I nevr have, and never will advocate the banning of any poster on this, or any other board, just because I don't happen to like what he says. Its childish.

:ban: ?? For what?

99.9% of the individuals on this board does not agree with inaccurate comments, but that does not warrant someone to get ban. We shouldn't promote fascism on this board by banning anyone for no viable reason/s.

He has not insulted anyone, or has made incensitive comments towards anyone or a group of people. Again, I totally understand how much of an a$$ he makes himself out to be, but how do you propose banning him for that alone while someone like Sick per se for continously proposing that we trade our best players for draft picks. How do you police that? Who gets ban or not, when people aren't even making post that are dehumanazing/belittling others?!

(sorry Sick. I'm apologizing in advance...I'm not trying to single you out by taking a shot at you. I'm only referencing you because you have thick skin and you, Yoshi, Dub, and few others are rare: wouldn't take offense to my example. If I used another poster as an example, they may have a titi attack. Overly sensitive individuals. Just pointing that out so I won't get banned)

This thread should clear up the reason(s) for the Giants board banning NN. A lot of you on here may not know the back stories from the ESPN days (on the Giants board), but there were a lot of ridiculously harsh racist comments (that's where I draw the line) against people of African American's and Hispanic descent. Trolling is annoying, but tolerable, and sometimes funny.....but racism is just in bad taste. (MG = NN = TT)

If he's found a good home here on this board, good for him. He's welcome everywhere on SportsHoopla except the Giants board. He never liked any of us anyway though, so he shouldn't view that as a punishment, lol.

Go 49ers!!!

I'm actually surprised anybody is calling for his head. He's been a longtime, and legitimate, contributor to this board.

Lame that anybody wants him banned.
