Should win the remaining games. But history says we won't. I hope history changes.

There is no doubt in my mind we still win with Robinson in the game.....

Mainly because Nebraska's fronts on both sides of the ball eventually wore down Michigan up front. I was very proud of the Defense for staying so energized after being on the field as much as they were early.

Robinson would have made the final score closer, but we still win by 6 or so.

If Robinson didn't get hurt, Nebraska would've won by 20-19!

Those Michigan fan comments don't rank very high for me. If they had a commanding lead when Robinson got hurt (i.e. 2011 tOSU game), maybe they got a point, but in this case we had the lead, so the meter says....

Michigan State held OSUs high powered offense to 17 points, so this means Nebraska better hold Michigan State to 12 points or less because I just don't see Beck calling plays well enough for us to score more than 13 points. I'm going out on a limb here... Nebraska 13-10.

I'm really happy with our win last night, but come on, we had a first and goal at their 4 yd and Beck refuses to utilize our strength, the running game to score a TD? That's just plain stupid! This is why I can't see Nebraska scoring more than 13 points next Saturday.

I agree with Red_Alert. There's no way of knowing what would have happened if Robinson stays in the game. The homer in me says we would still win. If the game would have kept going the way it did in the first half, Michigan would have had an opportunity to win in the end and history being our teacher, Robinson would have a long run or two, at the very least. Michigan would probably get at least 3 on any short field from a T-Mart interception or fumble.
However, like I said Saturday night. Injuries are part of the game and it's too bad for Michigan that Robinson is 68% of their offense.

Michigan was driving when Robinson got hurt and surely would of scored. How would we of responded? It's hard to say. We all know that ifs and buts were candy and nuts....

With that said one thing we saw is when Bo let's the dogs loose we have one hell of a scary defense. This kid may not have the speed and experience of Dennard but I still think if this was the scheme Bo used against robinson instead of the containment we would of had one hell of different first half. Robinson may of got loose a few times but he would of ate turf a whole lot more and I can't help believe that our offense would of fed off of it too changing what was a close game into an utter blow out.

But back to the ifs and buts.

Regarding State. This one doesn't scare me as bad as Michigan did beforehand. With that said they have lost five of their games by 13 points total and two of those in overtime. They are not a team we can implode on and not have it cost us dearly.

Penn State is not one to overlook either. I may put that one higher than MSU.

Michigan State has a horrible offense right now, I think Nebraska has the best offensive weapons in the B1G. That said, the Sparty Defense is really good, not great (see Iowa Game). It will be a tough game, but I like the Huskers chances with this road game.

We are. Bo needs to approach Michigan State the same way we approached the little feller who played QB for Michigan the other night.......

Overwhelm him. Assist him in pooping his pants. Ruin his confidence early and often. Give him the Lingerie Jones treatment.

i say the huskers lose if robinson stays in. because it's the truth. it was luck. luck that wasn't initiated by the defense. it was a non-contact injury. coach pelini got lucky when miller went down in the ohio state game last year and he got lucky when robinson went down last saturday.

what are you gonna do about that jjm? make fist gestures at your mom's computer screen in her basement like you always do? yes!, that is all you millstones around society's neck can do.

remember, i was the ONLY person supporting coach pelini for the head coaching position on the boards in '07. even jed didn't agree with me. coach pelini should not have this team still getting blown out by non-bcs championship caliber teams in year 5. "we need to win the next 6 games." watch out there coach mark- the huskers have such a "tough" schedule the final 6 weeks. is this the big 10 or big east, midwest division?

this boy crush you have on coach pelini is so fucking fake. you couldn't get to the head of the line quick enough to eat the nuts out of pedey's shit and give biily c multiple diekmans.

now i am big enough to admit that i might have been wrong in my support of coach pelini. humility is an attribute that is foreign to no lifers like yourself jjm.

this to both you jjm and red_alert. PRESIDENT obama is the president. put that in your pipe and smoke it. no matter how much you throw a temper tantrum, PRESIDENT obama can't change his color. SORRY!

Oh, and by the way........I was yankin' my crank over Coach Pelini back in 2003 already.........and I continued to harp that tune throughout the Callahan era.

I can admit that Pelini didn't turn out to be the quick fix that I was hoping he would be..........but we are nowhere near seeing the end of his time here at Nebraska.
