After watching the final preseason game it has become apparent that some fan favorites should go.

Chris Greenwood sucked donkey balls. He got scorched twice, one for a long TD. Not sure if he is eligible to be brought back for the practice squad. I think he is. He should not be on this roster. Slay and Bentley played much better. Even Bartell played better this preseason and he looked bad.
Rashean Mathis played well and will probably make it. Maybe at Spievay's expense.

Speaking of Greenwoods, Corey did not look much better either. Just like I called for getting rid of all Lewis's, I think we should rid the team of all Greenwoods too.

Speaking of Lewis's. I hate to admit it, but Travis looked better than Chris White. So did Whitehead and McIntosh.

Burleson had yet another missed pass that turned into an INT. The guy is all talk and no action. He just does not have it anymore. I doubt we cut him, but he should be. Heck, I would cut him and keep both Durham and Spurlock over him. Fuller has been MIA so I cant comment on him.

Sheffler is another that has become expendable. Fauria has thoroughly outplayed him. Trade him quickly. We could cut Wendling and then pick him back up after the trade. He will still be there because no other team is stupid enough to pick up a ST specialist who cant play a lick of defense.

Mikel Leshoure is probably our number 5 RB. Miller looked good last night and so did Riddick. Tough call as Leshoure is still our best goal line back. Not sure of the IR rules but we should put Owens there if we can and carry 5.

Willy Young needs to be on this team. Especially now that Ziggy has a concussion issue. The guy has been unstoppable.

Fox looks to have won the tackle job. Not sure Hilliard even beats out Waddel. With Jake Scott on the team, I don't think we need 2 backup tackles. Not sure how this one plays out. Maybe Scott goes but neither Gandy nor Warford make me feel all warm and fuzzy so I doubt it.

Each team can put 1 player on short-term IR for 6 weeks but that player must be counted on the 53 man roster prior to being placed on IR. If Owens is our STIR man then we have to hope someone else clears waivers to take his spot once he is placed on STIR.

A few cuts for #Lions so far: Rookie 6th-round pick Corey Fuller, UDFAs LB Jon Morgan & OL Darren Keyton. All are practice squad eligible

Must suck being so old you need those to stay regular eh? :yahoo:

I will cut raisin bran. The seeds in raisins cause me intestinal problems. Shredded Wheat is definitely one of my starters. Must be frosted though.

Not surprised we cut Fuller. He can go on the practice squad. So can Miller. Surprised we cut Willis, but I figured we might be keeping both Durham and Spurlock. I guess we keep 6 WRs? I think it cam down to Edwards, Willis and Durham. Edwards is yet to impress me. At least Spurlock and Durham run good routes. Still not sure what they see in Edwards. I hope I am wrong.

Scott got the ax and we keep the 4 tackles and 2 centers. Think we could have save a roster spot there, but it had to be either or.

Look for some DTs to get it next.
