Credit? Did you watch the game in Arizona? It was almost like a comedy the way he locked onto his first receiver and his eyes never moved. If I knew exactly where his pass was going, don't you think the Cardinals did too? His 20% completion rate in the second half (down from 25% the previous week) is absurd. Granted, his receivers dropped some passes but that is usually because he has no touch and just fires a bullet that they have to lunge for. 20 points when your defense gives you four turnovers to work with is nothing to write home about.
What areas do you think he has improved in?
This is so false its not even funny man. Just stop with the hate. Its getting old.

I see many he has improved in. He is looking at more then 1 receiver more then usually, He is running at the right times, he is throwing it away when nothing is down field instead of taking a sack or step out, Less Ints. Now some negatives because I like to give both, He still stays in the pocket too long, and he tries to make stuff happen inside the pocket example: spin move in pocket. Cant do that stuff. I have seen him get better every week since is started. Now Do I want him on here next year no. I want to move on but I do feel he will be in the NFL next year because of how well he is doing. Most had him behind Gabbert on this board and he blew past Gabbert.

LOL! I agree, he has more natural physical ability than Gabbert but Kaepernick's just to dumb to figure out how to use it in the NFL.

This I actually some what agree with you about. i do think he does have trouble reading a defense. He also has trouble adjusting to the D. If the D is stopping him doesnt have a plan B. I wouldnt call him dumb but his football IQ isnt as high as others. He relies more on his talent. They say he is always studying film. I just think he is watching it and thinking about something else. LOL

I don't think studying film is necessarily going to solve his issues. I think part of his problem is he just doesn't have good field vision . I also think part of his problem is reading and reacting to things under NFL speed. Some just can't perform under those conditions. PFF posted a stat of his QB rating during the game. When he had good time his rating was good, when he had pressure his QBR was bad. Now every QB is going to get worse under pressure but the point of PFF was his decline was much more dramatic. Look at Gabbert also. He studies a lot of film yet his issues haven't gone away. He has actually regressed over time because of his limitations.

There were a few plays where he had all day to throw, usually NFL QB's find big plays because CB's can't stick to receivers forever. HOWEVER, when Kaep does have 'all day', the play is nearly always a bad outcome. So TOO MUCH time is bad for Kaep too, so weird?!

Most sacks that Kaepernick takes are his own doing. He's one of the worst when it comes to pocket presence, and general movement within that pocket. He's been successful in the first half due in large part that guys are fairly wide open. The TD for example was a poor throw. His accuracy is crap, and he'll basically never become consistently accurate.

Might as well put Ponder in. At this point, he's the only one I'd consider bringing back next year - mostly from not actually seeing him this year.

Not sure about any individual play. PFF graded him well when he has a lot of time to throw. His QB rating drastically drops when he has pressure. I don't recall all the sacks. I think probably half were avoidable and half weren't. There was a play where a blitzing linebacker wasn't picked up for a sack. That one was on the line. There was another where he clearly could have at least thrown the ball away and was on him.

Bad play comes from bad players. Its hardly surprising.

Prior to the season we all knew we didn't have a good QB. We all knew it was choose the lesser of the evils, granted Kaep getting hurt didn't help him. Even now, Kaep has outplayed Gabbert, but what is that saying in the big picture, really?

At this point there is nothing Kaep will do that'll change my mind.....move on.

The positive Chip Kelly has turned Kap around like he said he would(well he didnt put into exact words, read between the lines). Some on here thought the same and some didnt. Chip should get some credit for that. Offense fits Kap well.

I agree with this assessment, Chip spreads the field much better for Kaep. Running lanes are wider for him to scramble and his accuracy seems to be getting a little better week to week. Our receiving corps leaves a lot to be desired, but we seem to be getting decent production for what they are.

That is what Greg Cosell said this morning. Cosell talked about Kaps limitations as a passer and how Chips system helps to minimize that. cosell credited Kelly. He did say it is questionable whether this can be successful long term

So far Kaep looks more like the Kaep we knew a couple seasons ago but with far less talented receivers. He seems to be healthy enough to leg it out like he used to once the D spreads out...and the're well aware of what he can do. Our line play has been pretty up and down, but I think it could be much improved by the end of the season (hopefully).

the key is his accuracy, so as long as he throws it well, everything falls into place. But we all know how his accuracy goes...............

We will never find out because he is gone after this year. I will say this if that had some truth wouldn't Kap be getting worse each week. he seems like he is getting better ever week. I guess it doesn't matter.
