I was always rather critical of putting Tim Jennings on the outside. I always thought he was a great nickel, but could never match up against bigger wide outs. I also thought a little bit of last year was a fluke, but the first two games are making me think otherwise. Both him and Tillman are elite corners for the same reasons. Both can cover very well and force fumbles.

he will get interceptions but by the end of the year he will give up at least as many touchdowns. I dont think there is anything elite about jennings, he fits the system.

I like Jennings. I think the guy wants to be 1 of the best , and is working towards that.
He's got great speed & an exceptional vertical leap. He improved his ball catching skills last offseason.
And it looks ( from what I took from game 1) he was hitting a heavy bag this offseason ( just MO). Also he's usually a sure tackler.

Just thinks he trusts his safeties too much.

Uh... Giving up the same amount of touchdowns as interceptions you got is a hell of a season for a CB. Especially nowadays.

That is an incredible season. Who is one of those guys that look up stats. I would bet his picks, and point off picks, rivals almost anyone. Till man causes fumbles, Jennings get the picks.

Its just like cutler, all is fine when the team is winning. When the free releases give up the game the tide will turn, especially losing the wild card by third or fourth tiebreaker.

This is a weird thread. I think Jennings is a solid corner. He gets picks, and has his Jennings Jab which has caused a few fumbles. however if something happens, Frey has looked great so far this year.

Jennings is great at getting picks and atheletic enough to make big plays after he does get the pick. the thing i see is hes just too small to tackle very good. But Even if he doesnt cover good enough like i know people are saying QBs will eventually quit trying to pass against a CB who gets alot of picks. Like Deon Sanders he probably would have had 20-30 more career ints but QBs just stopped throwing it his way. we need another CB to rotate in and out even when Tillman gets back. Bowmans ok for now but we need an upgrade.

Is Tim the most underrated DB in the game? Despite the D's woes, Tim Jennings has played well. In the last two games, he has locked up one-on-one with two of the better receivers in the league, and has basically dominated. Dez Bryant last week and today Josh Gordan. Those two combined for 6 receptions for 79 yds and 1 TD. That is impressive for a diminutive castoff. Tim's got the Dog in him, and he should be headed back to the Pro Bowl.

Yeah, Jennings/Bowman just made Dez Bryant and Josh Gordon complete non-factors in back to back weeks.

Tim Jennings looks just fine to me.

Jennings is pretty good, there is a reason QBs don't throw on him anymore. Luckily Bowman is getting better now.
