Yeah. Not opposed to it, but it's such a brainwash ad. Still not sold on fracking being safe, but that's for a different topic!

I work in the title business, and have landmen for all the oil and gas companies in my office everyday. I just have to chuckle at that commercial everytime I see it. If they really wanted clean energy, they would invest all that money into solar or wind. Even "cleaner" gas is dirty.

Assuming everything goes well tonight, Ron should consider bringing back Ogando or possibly Feldman for starts in the WS. Holland is better served in the bullpen for now. We are going to need a solid start or two from one of these guys to win thw WS.

It's just so hard to break up that bullpen. Ogando has been such a dangerous weapon.

I think I was right when I suggested earlier that Wash would use all his horses tonight knowing that if they win they will get a couple days off...so they will be fresh and polished for the WS

Agreed. Wasn't really happy they put him in the pen but he struggled down the stretch and has really recaptured his mojo with that devastating fastball/slider combination.

To move him back into the roto for the 7 game series just hurts the team. Right now you can use him 4 times in a series or more for multiple innings in that fireman's role or whatever. Problem is, he is the best pitcher on the team.

when you look at the Rangers and Cardinals...we may be seeing the path of the future for team in the playoffs...your starters are more like long relief pitchers giving you 4 or 5 and then the dominate bullpen pitches the rest with a couple days off in a 7 game series...the Rangers may be onto something...a way that teams can more than compete without having 2 or 3 $20 million starters

I dont want to lose Ogando either so you have to weigh which way is better. Maybe we can see how Feldman does here tonight. I think for now he may be a better option than Derek. It would be nice to get a quality start from one of these guys.
