Ranger pitching got 14 strikeouts. Total annihilation. Ranger offense needs to get it in gear. Looked like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde out there. Before the rain delay they were patient and worked the pitcher. After the rain delay they just hacked at everything. Need to get that straightened out before tomorrow.

I actually wanted Verlander to sat out longer so we could wear him down. Mother nature did not cooperate

I think we got 'em right where we want 'em. We got a hitter's park, a big hitting lineup and that's what everyone focuses on. But here it is, 5 games into the post season, and we've won the last 3 by one run with the bullpen being extra nasty.

Just for grins, I googled some Detroit sports talk radio stations a couple of days ago and thought it was fun listening to the other side discuss the upcoming series.

In Dallas it's mostly, 1310 the Ticket, 103.3 ESPN or 105.3 The Fan

that's the one positive that the EC biased announcing team gave the Rangers. they said our bullpen was our 1 postive. they basically gave every other edge to the Tigers

That sounds great A F. I am from Pittsburgh. Was born in DC and Grew up a Senators fan. When they moved to Texas I stayed with the Rangers. Went to games in the 90's at the old ball park in Arlington. Always had so much fun in Arlington and Dallas on my vacations there.
Hopefully I will see you on here tonight. For me this is a key game cause if we go up 2-0 I think we definitely get at least a split against Fister and Porcello

On base %
Batting average
Power
Outfield Defense
Bench
Bullpen
Probably a wash with starting pitching. Verlander is better than CJ but all the rest of our guys are better than theirs. Plus, the Rangers have the best batting average on fastballs which kind of negates Verlander a bit.

Hmm, what does this delay of a day due to rotations? Porcello was pulled as the day 2 starter so Scherzer could go in game 2 and 6. Now there will be one short game, so maybe Sherzer in game 7 if it goes that far?

I'm glad my last class of the day is a lecture course. Get to sit back with the netbook on and watch gamecast on mlb.com. What sucks is the hour long drive back to Las Colinas, but I do get to listen to Nadel and Busby. That's nice!
