I am hoping that these picks they run will be quite costly to them. Seahawks need to run right over them so they think twice about trying to play physical against them.

The NFL and Refs will be watching those pick plays REAL closely after what happened in the Denver Pats game.

They have been doing then all year, and people have complained... Much like the physical play of your DB's. But as long as they are "attempting to run the route" it isn't illegal. Which basically comes down to a lot of judgement calls by the refs on both the WR routes and DB's physical play...

I want Welker to try it on Chancellor, Wagner, or Irvin.

His goal isn't to run over these players. He simply wants to disrupt the coverage to allow the other WR to get a step. I don't think fear of bigger players or hard hitters will stop that, so you will probably get your wish..

Welker was 20 lbs smaller than Talib when he took him on so I don't think going over the middle will be something Welker or the other receivers fear considering they have been doing it all year.

Legion of Boom would love it if Welker tries that on them. Ask Vernon Davis how big Kam Chancellor is

I guess you are still confused on the point of their "pick" or "rub" plays. But yeah, running through them is probably the best answer.. :L

Yall do realize that if the defender looks like he is trying to run the WR over, he will keep giving the offense first down cause of pass interference?

Ok,OK....maybe Ninersfan and pantherfan can have their players show us the proper way to defend it. Oh,my bad, your teams are sitting at home right now ...never mind.

I wouldn't worry about talking and more about playing. In the Broncos system they aren't trying to knock out the DB but disrupt so the physical nature of the Seahawks DB's won't change that. Running them over will most likely result in yellow flags which I'm sure Denver would take. Also last time I checked you still have one more game to play before you start beating your chest too much.

So, if they want to 'rub' the hawks?

We need to just 'rub' them a tad harder. Thats a POS move, getting in someone's way, fuck em. Run em over, in five yards of course.

As far as you are concerned, our chest is one giant bruise right now.:suds:

I'm pulling for the Seahawks in the Super Bowl, but come on, the NFL has already deemed the play was legal. If Denver was trying to intentionally hurt Aqib Talib, then why would they use their most fragile receiver who has already had multiple concussions this year?

its a dirty play, and how is it not offensive PI every time if the ball is in the air? I hope the league looks at this type of play during the offseason, its time they throw the defense a bone.

The post was directed towards the broncos poster saying welker wouldn't fear going towards the middle against our defense

Welker was 20 lbs smaller than Talib when he took him on so I don't think going over the middle will be something Welker or the other receivers fear considering they have been doing it all year.

you fight threw it or play zone of course... refs will err on offense side so you lower ur shoulder into the WR too much you get pass interference whether your in 5 yardds or not. you should know that.
