I love it - The Thunder had a nice lead and they lost it and got a good old fashioned ass whupping

It was called a choke. OKC should of won, let Grizzlies back in game. They did!'t play their game in the 2nd. KD has 3 pts in the final 18:00. Pathetic, but an ass whopping. What??

Thats out on Jackson. Looks like I might get the Grizzlies -4.5. Also that Harden trade was incredibly stupid. He is arguably a top 10 player in this league. Could have gotten more for Harden.

I said similar thoughts when it happened. They could have just as easily kept him this year and traded him in the summer. His value never would have gone down. It would have gone up or remained the same. It was a poor move from a franchise that's been pretty wise the last few years

People overuse the word choke. Losing in the playoffs or getting swept isn't choking. Throwing a pick while scrambling throwing it across your body is a choke. Lebron in 2011 finals is a choke. Losing an elimination game or even playing a bad game isn't a choke, but doing something like C-Webb calling a timeout is a choke.

I told everyone specifically that OKC was going to miss Harden in the playoffs. Martin does not put the same type of pressure on the defense that Harden does.

Its not KD fault. They're zoning in on him in the 4th quarter and his teammates are not stepping up.

This was his first bad game of the series.

People putting any of this on Durant are misguided, imo. Durant is performing about as well as you could expect with 2-3 defenders from arguably the best defense in the league guarding him.

Really? I would do it in a second. Have Harden dribble up the ball and penetrate, have Curry come off a screen shoot a 3. The Warriors, if healthy with Harden, could realistically make the finals.

I honestly think they felt that KD and Westbrook would develop better with just the 2 of them and a good supporting player. Both were forced to become more of a facilitator because of the trade. However, I think they needed Harden to get past the Spurs and or Memphis.

Problem is he would have been a restricted free agent. OKC got what they could when they could. Don't discount the draft picks they've gotten in the deal. Presti usually knows what he's doing in that regard...

Imo, Thompson and Beal are guys that can be the third best player on a championship team. Harden is a guy that can be the 2nd best player on a championship team. And they are all so young that its hard to fully gauge their upside. That said, Id take Harden.

Im not so sure Presti is that much better than any other GM.

They took a 50/50 on Russell Westbrook vs Brook Lopez with a sabermetrics guy arguing for Westbrook and winning. Westbrook is the better player but they would have been fine with Lopez.

They took Durant at 2 when every GM wouldve taken Durant top 2.

Ray Allen for Jeff Green? Meh. That could have worked out if they developed him. Jeff Green for Perkins? Awful.

The Harden pick was good but they could have picked Curry or a number of other guards.
