Well this won't exactly squash the rumors that the games are fixed.
And of course I have class until 10pm. Fuck.
The officiating has not been good, wrong calls, missed calls, bizarre calls, but that happens most years during the playoffs. The NHL needs to expand their replay review process and will likely bring in some form of "Coach's Challenge".
If your team loses game 7, it's over for them, correct? Am I right to assume your team cannot use its win in the bank?
I don't know what the answer is. I am worried coaches' challenge is not it because coaches will use it as an extra timeout or means of slowing the game down.
I wish there was a way to "bench" a ref from further games for REALLY bad misses or bad calls. Or who calls things in the postseason differently than they did all year.
But even then, with the amount of diving that has worked its way into strategy, even making a bad call is not necessarily their fault.
I'm glad I'm not the guy tasked with solving it, that's all I am saying.
Hold on to your nuts...
its worth it to slow it down if the alternative is a team gets screwed as a result of no challenge, I honestly dont even see it as a debate, it should just exist. one each and if you lose it you lose your timeout, if you have no timeout you cant challenge or you get a 2 min penalty if you are wrong for delay of game
How bad is it that I am not excited at all for the Sharks Kings game 7?

Statistically, yes. It is over. No team winning a game seven has ever gone on to lose a series. And no team losing a game seven has ever come back to win one.
