Final draft for me in $$ league. Feeling pretty good about it as long as they stay healthy. ... As has been the case in pretty much every draft, RB's dried up early. Standard scoring.

RB - D. Martin TB
RB - M. Forte CHI
Flex (RB/WR/TE) - S. Vereen NE
Flex (RB/WR/TE) - J. Witten DAL
WR-TE - B. Marshall CHI
WR-TE - D. Bowe KC
IDP - S. Lee DAL
K- P. Dawson SF

Bench -
WR - G. Tate SEA
WR - V. Brown SD
WR - K. Thompkins NE
QB - M. Vick PHI
RB - B. Powell NYJ
RB - J. Bell DET

Be prepared to hit that waiver wire when your injury prone QB's go down.

I'd try to flip a trade for a different QB. Don't think Vick will be very good this year and Stafford is always a play away from a shoulder injury. I'd also keep an eye on Marshall since he is in your starting lineup, may not be able to go 100% opening week.

Other than that, I'm jealous that you aren't forced to play a TE. I'd love to be able to slot another WR in there instead.

Philly goes down.
FIFY Stafford isn't "injury prone". He took one huge hit years ago from arguably the best DE in the game, his shoulder didn't fully heal so he got hurt again, then had surgery from one of the best surgeons in sports, if not THE best. He's been fine ever since.

and Stafford is always a play away from a shoulder injury
Again, this kind of stuff cracks me up. He's played two full seasons in a row after his successful surgery, nothing to suggest he's "a play away from shoulder injury". It's not like he's been untouched in those 2 years.

Would you stay away from AP b/c he's "a play away from a leg injury"?

Nice team. I don't really like Vick as a backup, though - Vick's a guy you need a backup for.

No, but that is because AP is far and away the best RB in the game so it is worth the risk. Stafford, while a good QB, isn't the best so the risk to reward tradeoff is less.

No one said he sucks, just that a better backup is needed just in case. Relax

Relax
I'm calm. But I never was commenting on his skill level. You and jeffro made a comment based on his "proneness to injury". I simply made a rebuttal based on the facts at hand the last two years. That hardly makes him "injury prone". That's all I was saying.

Now if you wanna make an argument about his QB depth based on skills, then that's a different story. Vick has shown spats of unbelieveable talent, and times of sheer ugliness. Stafford, in his first full year, was a top fantasy QB. Last year(another full year) he regressed, hard. So that is where his concerns could lie.

Yep - understand. Fortunately we play Team QB in this league, I just listed the starters. In wk 9 Philly plays OAK. Vick, Foles or Barkley will probably do ok. Also, figure by then there will be other options if new offense doesn't pan out.

I am impressed you were able to get Martin, Forte and Marshall. I think your QBs are fine. Both have top 5 upside and a reasonable chance of hitting on it. Vick looked rejuvenated in the pre-season. I think I would start him week 1 if I were you against a weak Redskins secondary.
