I give up:

Forte
Rudolph

I get:
RGIII
Bilal Powell
Jermichael Finley

Forte is the only non-keeper in this deal.

I have two questions

1. Would losing Forte this early kill my chances to win
-my other RBs are McCoy, DWill, Miller and P. Thomas

2. Is Powell's shoulder a concern?

I wouldn't do it. . your basically giving up Forte and Rudolph for RGIII.
Thera a real possibility that Finley says screw it and retires, his family was begging him to do it before this latest injury. And Powell's shoulder isn't nearly the concern that Chris Ivory is. . combine the two and you have a RB with little to no trade value.

So, would you give up Fortte for RGIII straight up? Let alone add a sweetener like Rudolph?? I wouldn't.

fair enough...I just picked up Rudolph today though so he is pretty worthless to me. I have Julius Thomas.

I am wanting to parlay Forte into a keeper but I might have to keep looking.

But wouldn't dealing Rudolph for Finley leave you right back where you were... no TE this week?

yes but I didnt think Rudolph was that much better than some of the other options that were free. I just traded him for Finley so low risk deal for Finley that I can stash until next year if I need to

Well he really wasn't. . but now you gotta do another guy, and will have a third TE on IR shortly. .possibly forever.

Not sure why you want Finley as a keeper when you have Julius Thomas. He is an ideal keeper TE.

And I wouldn't try too hard to trade Forte for a keeper. If you dealt a stud RB for a keeper every year, you would probably never win.

In a week or two you can probably get Powell off the waiver wire.

Finley is a question mark but the guy has never lived up to expectations in Green Bay. Every year it's this is the year he breaks out. I would rather pickup and stash Furia than Finley.

Forte has been steady all season. Still hasn't rushed for 100 yards yet. He may also be affected by Cutler's injury if McCown doesn't move the offense. (A few more 3-and-outs will put a dent in his stats.)

2. Is Powell's shoulder a concern?

Don't know anything about Powell's shoulder. I'd be more concerned about a healthy Chris Ivory stealing touches at this point.

On the flipside, RG3 seems to have hit his stride which is what a fanasy owner wants to see for the playoff run.

Did I miss who your current QB is? If RG3 is a substantial upgrade, I would highly consider this deal.

... but I agree Powell and Finley are moot points and just would be dropped for waiver additions if it were me.

I would only do it if your are in desperate need of a QB. and I mean desperate need like Ponder right now is your starter desperate.

.

I think it will actually help Forte because I think they are going to be checking it a lot more now that Cutler isnt constantly looking down field.

I'd agree with Joe.. The ability to keep drives alive instead of punting is always preferable.

Great point. And I agree.

But RG3 is averaging 19.8 points per game (and that average ranks him 7th). I expect that average to go up. But if you have Romo, Luck, Wilson or Newton (all averaging over 17 pts and under 20), I agree with David_son and hang on to Forte.

I guess I need to learn how to read: I guess this is a keeper league. My opinion is still no but in a keeper it's closer. You might as well forget about Finley as his injury has a really good chance of ending his career.

I don't think that's a good move man.

Forte was easily the best player in that deal, and you were on the giving end of that.

RGIII will continue to look good versus bad defenses like Chicago, but he'll be inconsistently productive, at best.
