Report: John Fox didn't know Mitch Trubisky was Bears top target
I'd like to know the context of that. A lot of sensationalizing going on, and news outlets trying to facilitate the theme of "chaos".
For instance, there was a bunch of reports on how they never gave him an official interview. Meanwhile, that's extremely disingenuous, as Fox and Pace literally took him out to a dinner after a private workout.
The Pace/Fox regime has been RIDICULOUSLY deceptive on all fronts. Injuries, signings... etc... So, as ridiculous as this seems. I'm not convinced that there's much to this. I seriously highly doubt that John Fox just had 'no idea' that they really liked Trubisky. I'd say it's more likely he didn't know the plan of attack, with the trade up and the extent that they found out they'd have to go with all of of it.
I mean, it's been made known before that Pace and him aren't tied at the hip, and he really does not have a big say on personnel.
