Take Clowney with the number 2 pick and trade Chris Long to who ever needs a DE for additional picks. I am just tired of all the offside penalties of late. One in particular was in Atlanta on 3rd and long that eventually set the tone for the Falcons in a game we could have easily won and got off to a 2-0 start.

Rams will get more out of trading the #2 pick then they will Long.

I would trade the #2 pick for a lot more picks this draft because I think they still have their other first round pick.

it's a long long way off and honestly we wont know until after Houston either trades their pick or makes the pick themselves.

Long's contract is going to keep teams from trading for him.

He's not worth what he is scheduled to make the next 3 seasons.

Draft Clowney to replace Long after this season when the Rams probably have to cut him because they won't be able to afford him.

Can't be paying Long over 10m and sign Quinn to the contract he deserves as well. Too much money. If they take Clowney, they can release Long and sign Quinn to the extension he deserves.

I like to see the rams get another 320+ DT to compliment Brockers so that way you can have 2 run stopping DT's which would free up your DE's even better as well the rest of your defense.

In Long's defense, this scenario isn't supposed to happen. The Rams shouldn't have the #2 overall pick but the Redskins faceplanted last year

Yeah I know. Rams have a lot of options in terms of trading the pick. They need to work on that defensive backfield and their WR's then anything else. Trading the pick for a bunch more picks in not just this draft but possibly future drafts would help.
