Those guys talent was ALREADY THERE, there was no development at all. Look at White's numbers this year, the later in the season, the lower his production went. White has a LOT of God given talent, Holgorsen did NOTHING to improve him. He has had one game over 100 yards and 7 catches in the past four. Don't pick out guys who were already great at their position to try and say Holgorsen developed them, where is the QB he developed? where is the punt returner he developed?

The defense is MUCH improved, they are receiving effective coaching, the offense is a little better. To try and say Holgorsen developed White or Bailey is just plain BS, he made use of existing talent, until opposing defenses figured out what White's strengths are and took him out of the games.

Dunno about that DAD, White was a NFL prospect at best and didn't really knock anyone's socks off last year but now this year is looking at first round draft pick status. Some of that is his work with our S&C team and some with our coaches but some of it as also the development at the QB spot, speaking of which we could use a little more development at the QB spot now because once White started getting double covered pretty much all the time our QB has had trouble going to other targets to keep defenses honest, that's part of his decline in numbers. Either way there is no denying that some of our guys are developing and developing well.

We don't know how well Ford Childress would have developed because he quit and Millard imo is about as far as he can go with what he has talent wise (if memory serves, we were about his only D1 offer out of HS), Trickett is better this year than last and the new QB's are just getting their feet wet so.... the QB spot may be better than some think, time will tell.

PR/KR was pretty formidable with Austin and Bailey and Alford is now one of the most dangerous KR guys in the country this year besting last years TD totals. Frustrating as heck that we cant find a reliable guy for that PR spot right now and I fault Dana and the other ST coaches for (for lack of a better term) being too loyal to the guys we have put back there. Personally, after 2 bonehead moves/fumbles the players days of playing PR would be done but I guess that's a difference of opinion/philosophy and possibly just a lack of a man on the roster that can do the job at all, perhaps that changes if Davis develops as planned (his first year at that spot) or one of the young guys that are being red shirted steps up next year. We aren't where we want to be but at the very least SOME development has been there.

You mean from 20 catches a game the first 6 games to 3 and 7 in the last few, yeah that's development, what a joke you make in your posts. The defense got better through the year, the offense got worse, which seems to be a trend.
