No team has clinched a playoff spot yet going into the final week. 7 playoff contenders are playing each other if any those teams lose this weekend they are out of the playoffs while 6 of the 7 can clinch a playoff spot with a win. Also Alabama's fate is up in the air something that would not be the case in a 8 team playoff. You can't ask for an exciting, and interesting weekend.

This weekend would be good with an 8 team playoff as well ... Yes, Alabama would be in, so would Central Florida, Oklahoma, USC, Georgia, probably Clemson, the B1G winner and one other team (Michigan "shameless plug")

I'm on the fence honestly, I want the 4 best teams regardless. Alabama is a great team, though with their flaws for sure. I wholeheartedly disagreed last year with tOSU getting in because I didn't think they were one of the best teams.

For sure, we'd have everyone back 100% and a month to prepare. Scary to think about honestly. We will see though, it all depends on the offense and if Daboll has a good game or another Iron Bowl
