I would just like to say, that whatever coach Sanders has done, us fans have no right to ever know what it was.

Nobody on this forum has demanded an explanation yet, and I'm hoping we keep it that way. But on other forums, Husker fans for whatever reason believe they deserve to know what Sanders did.

I just read a post on another forum by someone saying "Bo is lying and he knows it. Sanders did not resign for 'family reasons' and I think we oughta have the right to hear an announcement on what it was that he did."

Here is my response to that: Bullshit, you just wanna know what he did so you can gossip. For the sake of coach Sanders, let's let him be so he can move on and find a job elsewhere. He has done a lot for our program.

If the rumors are true about Sanders (which I refuse to take in part of saying what those are) then that sucks and that is a personal matter. We have no business needing to know personal crap.

Now if Sanders resigned because he did something wrong with the team or the NCAA then I think we do deserve to know.

I feel the same way irule. I guess I just went so far towards the media because of all the dumb people that were so far towards Bo. I am not trying to hate on Bo but the way he acts towards the media trying to do their job forces them to ask pertinent questions even during times that he doesn't want those questions. It is a give and take situation and Bo doesn't look at it that way.

JJM the discussion I heard was about the media being wrong for asking so many questions during the teleconference about coaching changes..

People were either supporting the media/bashing Bo or supporting Bo/bashing media.


found it funny that I heard jed.. I was only in the car about 15 minutes during the show, and that's the part i heard.. LOL

lol......I mean, there aren't many coaches who act towards the media the way that Bo does. There is no doubt about that. And sometimes Bo is just in the mindset that he isn't giving out any information whatsoever.........the problem is those media members come with questions they are supposed to ask. They don't just ask them for their own personal enjoyment.........their employer wants to get specific information.

It is very awkward at times with Bo because he rejects them very often.......but it's actually pretty funny as well, because as awkward as it is for the members of the media, they still have to attempt to do their job and get that information from him.

The questions are not what their employer wants. The questions are what the fans want to here the answers to. The media is an avenue for the fans to get information that we don't have access to. Now obviously they are not the only avenue but they are a very big avenue. I am not saying that we have to know everything because I don't want to know everything, but to bitch and moan that the media is out to get Bo and destroy the program and don't respect Bo is just flat out stupid. No matter how bad someone may feel the media in Nebraska is, they are angels compared to most other places like the south and the east coast.

Yea I should have worded that differently. But ultimately, what I was getting at was that if they don't get the type of information that the fans want to hear, their job can be on the line.

If I'm working for the World Herald and I show up and don't ask Bo a single question about the coaching changes because I am scared of him sitting up there, then my boss is going to question whether or not I'm cut out for that line of work.

I think the people who just continually bash the media forget that they are doing their job.........they aren't doing it for their own personal enjoyment. My dad always thinks that media members are trying to piss Bo off because it's funny to them
