Portland is a city. Minnesota is a state. Pass some sympathy my way dammit.
I visit Minneapolis every 3-6 months. I feel your pain.

Aqib Talib's brother turns self in after slaying
The brother of retired NFL cornerback Aqib Talib turned himself in to authorities Monday after police identified him as a suspect in the fatal shooting of a coach at a youth football game in Texas.www.espn.com
Aqib and guns do not belong in the same area. This guy (his family) keep running into these difficult situations. Just terrible to let a little kid's game lead to something like this. I can't believe a family is now missing a loved one all over a stupid game.
Absolutely terrible.
Issues for sure considering he shot himself Chedar Bawb style a mere 6 years ago.Remember when Aqib and his mother went after his gf's bf/husband with guns back during his rookie or 2nd year with Tampa? This family has some issues. I think Aqib has grown up a lot though since his young days.
Or perhaps players develop unhealthy habits with the extra protection then find themselves without that protection on game day. It will be interesting to see the statistics on the injury rate.I'm happy to see the Broncos wrap the outer egg crate shells on their practice helmets. I don't know if this is a league initiative, or just something Hackett wanted, but it is nice to know the Broncos are protecting the player brains the best they can.
so i knew this
be honest, without Google
who was Josh Johnson’s college coach in 2011?
he went to a small religious college
sorryJohnson was in the NFL in 2011
His head football coach in college I believe would have been Ron Caragher back then.
I was wondering the same thing. It is a league mandated thing for certain position groups in training camp. I think OL DL and TE, not sure if any others are required.Or perhaps players develop unhealthy habits with the extra protection then find themselves without that protection on game day.
