I am interested to see what happens with the Chiefs situation cap wise moving forward. You can keep pushing money to future years of course but there does come a point where a team has to bite the bullet and clean up their dead money. Saints did it for a few years with Brees where they were barely average. Steelers did it with Big Ben for a couple of years and took a bit to recover. Patriots just went through it this last year.

Oh yes - I agree, but when you have your horse at QB the time is always now, or you are wasting his prime. Then when you get in big trouble with the cap (remember there will probably be a giant increase in cap money next year) you ask you QB to restructure or you can't afford to get anyone to block for him or catch his passes.

You know - whenever I get bored I use @LGM as a foil. His responses usually make me chuckle - he is very hard to get the best of in word games.

Nuggets beat the Clippers last night and move into 3rd place - giving them an opportunity to miss the Lakers in the 1st round (1st round team - likely playing out of the 5th seeding). Great game by the Nugs - who continue to defy gravity in the loss of Murray.

Still hard to know the seeding. But it’s pretty amazing that the Nuggets have won 9/10 since Murray was injured - and all the games since both were out. (The one they lost was the one Barton was injured.)

Blazers seemed to have bounced back from their losing streak and is only one game back of Dallas & LAL. So the Lakers could easily end up as 5, 6, or 7 seed.
