I've been watching Beatles 50th anniversary tributes and documentaries on PBS,CNN, MTV and a few other stations these last couple of weeks.... I might give that one a look-see if it hits ondemand at some point.

Alicia Keys & John Legend rendition of Let It Be was good, but it's mostly been like the OP says, a bunch of lesser talents butchering Beatles tunes. I've been switching back & forth to the Olympics.

Alicia Keys is great IMO and she can cover anything well. I also had no issues with Katy Perry switching the word from She to He on Yesterday. Ppl are making a big deal out of that. really.

Just went back and forth between walking dead. Dave Grohl looked like he was having a blast and I was really surprised how good Joe Walsh sang, that was really something.

at least I figured out what all the beatles crap was all week.
