Ohhhhhhhhh that looks good. I can Dutch oven for sure. I have an awesome
Pot roast recipe I haven't made in ages. I need to find It. Everytime I've made I, I've been asked for
The recipe

Recipe above is easy and comes out great, the longer it cooks the better it is……I add a tablespoon of Better than Bouillon to the beef stock, stuff is amazing and adds tremendous flavor…..

Smoked Salmon “Burnt Ends”

My cousin hooked me up with some Coho he caught in Alaska. Sorta rushed it but I was on a time crunch and they turned out pretty good.

No pictures. But I got a new electric smoker for my birthday recently. I've been playing with combining sous vide with smoker. I hated fiddling with my old smoker so never replaced it when it rusted out. But I did a brisket on my sous vide early spring and it was perfect except that finishing it on the grill it just lacked smokiness of real BBQ, and it flamed up a bunch with all the fat dripping.

So I have done 2 briskets so far turned out great. 4 attempts at ribs and had to hone in a bit to get it right. But they're good now. Doing salmon this weekend, no sous vide just smoking. Also did some "faux" burnt ends with chuck roast but need to work on those a bit.

Think I'm gonna do some smoked char siu pork this weekend too. But no real idea how yet. Usually you marinate that first but not sure if it's needed with sous vide. Not sure if the smoker will mess with the glaze on the pork either. Guess we'll see.

Grandsons got back from Port Arkansas this afternoon. They advised me that we have some grilling to do tomorrow night.

They sent a picture…
