Measured by OPS+, Harper's 2015 was the 71st best offensive season in the history of baseball. To put that into perspective, Miguel Cabrera's best offensive season (2013) ranks 96th. Harper did that at 22 years old. That's just insane.
Insane, and I definitely lean towards 2016 being the outlier, and not 2015, especially if he was ever put next to the short porch in the Bronx.......Harpers' 2016 reminds me of Aaron Rodgers 2016.....Rodgers is labeled "Done", but most of football would sign up for 20 TD's and 5 Ints in Week 9.......I still think we are at a point in baseball that its 50/50 at best these guys even hit the market...Maybe a bigger chance with Harper, represented by Boras, but wouldnt shock me to see the Nats at some point next summer out 10/275 on the table, and see how he reacts to that....May come down to if his season is looking like 2016 or 2015
