phillips didn't look so good, but he's like a redshirt freshmen isn't he? he was getting blown off the ball from what i was seeing. then he got hurt.

ott though, man he looked pretty good, of course being a senior and playing an FCS certainly doesn't hurt.

So your defending the way Nebraska kids got over looked? Phillips as you noted is in his first college game and would have been brought up differently in Lincoln. If the kid has the talent to be in that position this early in his career then he must have a huge up side.
