How do you fix the run game?
How do you fix the porous offensive line?
How do fix the lack of pass rush?
How do you fix the linebacker play?
And just what the fuck happened to the defensive backfield?

I don't think it is fixable.

I will concede, Ameer Abdullah was just that good that he made the offense look good. None of these running backs is a Ameer Abdullah, Rex Burkhead, or Roy Helu.

BYU is going to make Tommy Armstrong beat them with his arm.

Like I said, Tommy was fine in the 1st quarter with the wind behind him. The wind is really really gusting today. So if we can just find a way to win this 3rd quarter, we get the wind in the 4th again.

We don't have a running game, and won't have one in this game. We can fix the pass protection with a little bit of motivation.

Actually, motivation can go a long way across the board. We have a lot of guys out there are just kinda jogging around.

You can't make accurate assessments on offensive and defensive lineman in practice. What if they both suck?
The suckier one makes the other look better than they are.

Top that off with Riley giving all his loyal buddies big time jobs as he goes off into the sunset and you get what you asked for.

Naturally there is a new system in place, but he said he was going to play to Tommy's strengths. Tommy's strengths are not under center as a 3 step drop back passer.

BYU knows that. That's why they're bringing it on the rush.
