Game Thread: The XFL thread

Again, they didn't have anywhere near enough time to build real offenses before this league launched. After 4 weeks we would only just now be facing week 1 in the NFL. Sure, the 'starters' all played the first 4 unlike the NFL preseason, but coaches need time to evaluate plays and players and it has all had to happen in real time.

I don't expect a lot of advancement, but it should improve before year end and if they have a better off season schedule, it should be even better next year.

It's still football in March. It has that going for it.

I mean seriously the XFL assigned "faces of the franchise"

Landry Jones, Matt Mcgloin, Josh Johnson, Aaron Murray, Brandon Silvers.

These were the "highlighted guys"

this was the BEST they can get?

Im not saying these guys WANT the XFL but more interesting names

attendance and tv ratings slipped in week 4 but it didn't seem to be huge. if they can level off somewhere and not completely bottom out by the end of the season, they may have a chance.

XFL is going to finish the season and I hope they continue but if this if the first and only season, it's been good thus far. Many stars for the NFL are coming out of the XFL this year. Guarantee it.

"Stars" may be pushing it, but there are definitely players that deserve a serious look in the NFL. PJ Walker looks legitimately good, as do a few of the receivers.
