My guess is that he'll get a contract front loaded with the guaranteed cash. Maybe 20-22 mil each year guaranteed, for 3 years. Then he'll get 3 more years or so where next to nothing is guaranteed, but it's more of an option for Washington to release/keep him.

From what I understand that is correct. I believe that the only guaranteed money is the tag money that he's slated to get this year.

Strange set of numbers indeed, Do you know for certain if these numbers are in line with the last reported offer? To me even back then they seemed weird.

I am with Dad. I don't believe those numbers can be close to what was offered this entire offseason.

A lowball off would be 5 years, 105 million, with 40 million guaranteed. This other crap is insulting.

My offer would be 6 years, 140 million, with 50 million guaranteed. The guaranteed is 24 mil signing bonus and years 1-2 salary. Salary breakdown per year is 10/16/19/20/23/28. This means he gets paid in year 1, 34 million...well more than his franchise tag this season. Over the first 2 seasons he gets a little more than twice this year's tag. We lower our upfront cost on KC dramatically.
