The game has gotten so fast that the Warriors have found the secret weapon to keeping players healthy. At one point years ago, most teams had a seven men rotation, the game was slower and players were able to take breaks during the game. They were still in the game, but they could take significant breaks during the game.
The Warriors have a ten man rotation, and have had few injuries during this year. Kerr started with 10 men and depending upon the team the bench may change depending upon the team and road trip.
The Warriors didn't have to add players to the roster, they were there at the beginning of the season.
The key was simple, few if any players play more than 33 minutes. Kyrie Irving is a great player but played to many minutes. James who is probably the best player in the NBA looked like he ran out of gas near the end of the game. He played 47 minutes. The longer these players play the more injuries occur.
The Cavs have had several injuries during the year, and added players when others went down. The key seems to be keep the playing time under 33 minutes.
This seems to be the solution that other teams may follow in the future. Thoughts?
