Officially picked up for S10. I guess that will allow for the completion of the Whisper arc.

I am guessing 9.16 will be the spikes, 10.8 will be the death of Alpha and 10.16 will be the death of Beta.

Will Danai Gurira be back since she hasn't signed on to do season 10 yet and will season 10 be her last year on Walking Dead if she agrees on a new contract?

I have no idea, but...

She could be on the spikes.

I always forget that this show is still a thing. I cannot imagine it's still worth following.

I tapped out during the prison, came back for the governor and then tapped out again. I think that's it for me.

I believe she will be in one of the Walking Dead movies
So...as far as the tv show goes, it will be a total changeover, imo. You agree?

After the Whisperers, they may completely be broken from the comics. Not sure how you can do the Commonwealth with anywhere near the same way with where the show is right now.

Somehow they will do Commonwealth either in the show or the movies since we have seen easter eggs in the show. Although The Commonwealth in the comic books is starting to get boring

I worded my post very poorly.

What I meant was how would they do the CW story as it is in the books based on what has happened in the show so far...

No Rick.
No Dwight.
No Elodie.
The CW is already a known entity, with Maggie already working closely with them.

The introduction of the CW in the books is pretty key to setting up how the story develops. Having the relationship flourish off camera for 7 years kinda makes the revelations in the book hard to duplicate. And the whole Elodie storyline, which was kinda powerful in the books is pretty much impossible in the show. Daryl can fill in for Dwight easy enough, but will they do that? I seriously doubt that.

It was mentioned that she is with Georgie looking for and establishing relationships with other settlements. Georgie is thought to be the TV version of Pamela Milton.
