The whole zombie apocalypse genre is becoming over saturated and watered down.
I like the WD as much if not more than the most rabid fan....but honestly, what turns me off about the series is how often it got soap opera like & sappy. The reason I like Z Nation a bit more is because it's corny, cheesy & graphic w/ that "low budget" feel, and at least stays true to the George Romero-esque vibe.

Any other Walking Dead fans here? I've been watching it since the beginning. I don't read the comic book but the show always has some interesting twists. Can't wait for the new season to start. One thing that pisses me off is that it airs on Sunday when football is going on.I just DVR it and watch it later most of the time.

I'm a fan of "the Strain". This is an incredibly good series.

Based on it, yes. But there are numerous differences. I just think the writing and special effects on the show were of the highest quality in the first two years. Hope that turns around this season.

Some of those episodes he's listed in may just be retrospective in nature. The girl that plays Beth (Emily Kinney) is also listed in basically every episode for the new season & for the previous one, tho she hasn't appeared in one in a long time.

I love being surprised.

Other than that, best premiere since the Pilot. The opening was brutal and tense. Carol is elevating her bad-ass-ness. Tyreese continues to be a question mark. Eugene opens up.

So whatta ya think, Morgan becomes the preacher? Good episode. The troth scene was pretty darn intense, and I totally agree with calsnowskier, Carol was BAD-ASS. I wonder if they made the character of Tyreese so dumb intentionally?

So who dies? Choices: Glenn, Beth, Tyreese, Maggie? We know who gets it in the comics, but that means nothing here. I'm not including characters like Bob and the like, because they're probably gonna get it anyway.

The kid ain't goin' anywhere and neither are the Big Three.

I guess I am happy they tied this all up in the first episode, I expected it to go half the season. On the aftershow they said they stretched terminus all thru last season so didnt need to stretch it more. Guess the thought of terminus was stretched, just thought it was kinda quick.

anyway they said they were gonna continue following the comics.

I take it you didn't watch Talking Dead? They previewed a clip of next week's episode, where a man is on top of a rock, and walkers are all around the rock trying to get to him. That man was identified as Gabriel, so I'd imagine Rick & Crew will be rescuing him.

Lol, I started watching it, but I can't stand that Gimple guy. Dude acts like he created the entire show. I'll have to check that clip out.
