Rick and his crew don't know there's as much dissension within Negan's group as we saw last week. However, they do know that Negan has a lot more people than what showed up there to collect. If they killed Negan and his men, they'd be starting a war they couldn't win. At least that is how it would seem to them. After last week's episode, I think that a mutiny would be more likely than being killed by another group.

Interesting that they finally addressed Judith's parentage. Although it seemed a bit forced the way Rick related it to the current situation. Not where I thought he was going to go with that at all when he first mentioned Shane.

You might be right, but I think Spencer is currently the most likely character to die sometime soon.

Whenever Father Gabriel, portrayed by Seth Gilliam, has a scene in TWD, I can't help but to be reminded of Seth Gilliam's role of Sugar Watkins in Starship Troopers.

I don't know that he has the jaw to pull off a clean-shaven Negan. Comic-Negan has a HUGE head (and a huge body to go along with it). JDM can't pull off the clean-shaven look, I think.

how will they pull off the Negan/Beta fight with the smaller JDM playing Negan? Unless they get a smaller person to play Beta, but that would pretty much destroy the entire point of the character (from what we know about him so far). But they did go quite a bit smaller when they cast Abraham and Paul as well, so maybe they will ignore the freakish size aspect to Beta when the time comes.

This is getting frustrating. The way Negan walks around, someone would have assassinated him along time ago. I don't see why Rick's group didn't load the woods with snipers and then ambushed them as soon as they arrived.

I think they sort of addressed this on TTD... It is probably the reason Negan showed up early instead of coming when he said they would. Keep them off balance and don't give them time to plan anything... I think Rick taking the scoped rifle from Michonne (Even though every gun Negan was aware of was accounted for), shows exactly how little nerve he has left to pull off something at this point...

Would love to see Rosita somehow deliver the death blow with the one bullet she asks Eugene to make, but I think we all know that whole thing probably won't end well...

Yeah I'm loving it. I could see it turning some people off, but it's nice to get this type of super-villain. Another Governor would be boring.
