I have a feeling that won't be on the same page. Carl will probably want to take immediate action and Jesus will probably just want to find out their location and head back for the Hilltop to tell Sasha. I think in the end Jesus will convince Carl but it might not matter if someone sees them.

The show has always been at it's best when it can follow the comic script and make their own plot from there, as opposed to just writing original content. Like you said, keeps comic readers on their toes and it's still good to watch.
