Yup. They finally focused on him, and it was well done. Much better than in the comics, and I thought the comics did a pretty good job of developing him.

Yeah the comics were alright, I liked him better as time went on. But he was almost like a soap opera in the comics, whereas the show is taking a slow burn approach which I like better

What I mean by Soap Opera is that very quickly he goes from the ass hole who killed Abe to all of a sudden wanting to help destroy the Saviors. It was just so fast. I really like his character as time has moved on in the comics though. In the show, you can see his motives and get on board with him. He has redeeming qualities already

I think are are selling the comic version short.

Neagan took Sherri from him and scarred him. The book wanted to keep the tension up about whether he was really turning on Neagan or not, I think that's why we didn't get a lot of his POV until post-fair. But since the fair, he is one of my favorite characters. Especially his re-joining Neagan. That is a great mini-arc.

Quick question...

Was the Hilltop dr named on the show? Savior-Carson was not a doc in the books.

Btw, I would also like to play a drinking game with the chick in the opening scene. :)

OK, I went back and watched it a few times, but couldn't make it out. What was the pic of?? You can put it in a spoiler if you need to.

It was a photo of the bowl of spaghetti O's that Daryl spilled which angered Negan enough to kill Glen. It's less about the spaghetti O's and more about what the spill resulted in.

Even so, Negan's response was: "Oh oh! Spaghetti O's!"

While I am anxious to get back to the main group and begin with the aftermath of Rick's emasculation, this was a very good episode that shows a lot about how Negan operates. Not a comic book guy, but like what they've done with Dwight, converting him from what we perceived as being a dick, to actually being a sympathetic character...

Finally saw episodes 2 and 3. Both really good episodes in my opinion. The season has the potential to be the best one in a while. I was really getting bored with most of the main cast. Their characters had become somewhat stale to me for a while now but I'm really liking what they are doing with some of thzese new characters. I think Ezekiel is my new favorite.

It was a Polaroid of Glenn after his Trieste with Lucille.

This is getting frustrating. The way Negan walks around, someone would have assassinated him along time ago. I don't see why Rick's group didn't load the woods with snipers and then ambushed them as soon as they arrived.

Ya, man. This season has been slow and boring for me. Negan could have easily been shot like 10 times by now.

Someone get my poor Rosita a sandwich or something! She looks like she weighs about 50 pounds. In any event, I think her time is drawing near.

Anyone have a clue what the wreckage was that Michonne walked up on?
