So I was channel surfing the other night and Fargo was on. I guess it was the newest episode, the one before the season finale. I had no idea what was going on.

Holy Crap on a Cracker. By episode's end, I was hooked. And of course it's not on Netflix!

Of course they will probably run a marathon of the first two seasons over the holidays at some point...I'm hoping.

At least some people have that, I didn't particularly like the Negan arc in the comics. So between that and a terrible first half of the season, I am not expecting much at all.

Well, not being a reader of the comics, I guess I'm going off the hype that I have heard from those who do... Seems people have been anxious for this guy to appear for some time now...

Yeah, you probably should. I know I am in the minority of readers who didn't like the Negan arc. I didn't think it was awful, just so/so.

Most people seemed to love it.

I am not sure the Negan-arc itself was all that awesome, as much as the character of Negan himself was awesome.

I still have no idea how they are going pull this off on a non-premium network.

I think the show has the potential to get pretty awesome from here on. Whether you liked the Negan arc or not, it's hard to dismiss the notion that he is the most formidable villain yet. Couple that with who he kills en sech...I look forward to seeing how they pull it off.

If the show STARTED at this point, I think it would have a high probability of success. A show about re-establishing society in a post ZA world is really intriguing.

However, the show started as a survival epic and built its name on that premise. Now it is completely changing gears into a kind of political drama. I am not sure those two stories appeal to the same people, even if the transition makes total, logical sense.
