With the talk of Richard Sherman trade talk floating about, who are your team untouchables.

For the Rams,

P Johnny Hekker - In December 2014, he signs a 6 year contract extension and responds with back to back All Pro Seasons. In a game, with the importance of field position. He is a weapon arguably the weapon.

So the most important player on the Rams is the punter? What does that say?????
I guess he does play on 25% of the Rams plays.....

Not the most important, but having the best punter is a luxury.

Bill Belichick [mic drop]
Sometimes it seems like with Belichick and Brady you can just add a bunch of borderline NFL players and still make a run at it...

It baffles, frustrates and elates us Pats fans watching BB.

Von Miller and that's it.

I keep thinking through our roster and yeah Miller is the only one that is completely impossible to replace. Plenty of other guys I really like. At this point this one is a little out there but I will go Paxton Lynch. His being cost controlled at the most important position on the field and Elway in a way putting his reputation on the line that this kid will be special makes him a bit untradeable.

IMO there really aren't any untouchables. It's just a matter of what you get back in return. Give me 5 first round picks and I'll give you anyone.

That being said Dak and Sean Lee are the hardest to replace. RBs are replaceable; the OL has 3 guys who may all be the best in the league at their respective positions, but even with two of them they would still be fine, Witten is aging, Dez disappears at times and Lawrence looks like the only real pass rusher, but was not good last year after injuries. Losing Byron Jones right now would be disastrous, so I need to elevate him to just below the other two.

Wouldn't a punter being rating as one of 2 team untouchables be an admission of having a shitty team?

That's what decades of awful coaching does to a franchise, declining since Martz took over for Vermeil. One first round pick dominant DT and an undrafted punter. Of course, they have some nice pieces scattered about and have wasted some very good players' careers on losing teams, but the roster is a discombobulated mess. Hopefully McVay can get this team turned around.

I dont get Witten at all. He is 105 years old a looks like he is running with cinderblocks tied to his feet but after all these years he still gets open and make critical catches. Dude has been nothing but class and better be a first ballot HOF'er.

His production, not only as a receiver but blocker as well, have been nothing less than spectacular. One of the toughest players ever to put on a helmet.

One time, he didn't even need a helmet.

Bucs
QB - Winston
WR - Evans
DT - McCoy
MLB - Alexander

I would also Include Hargreaves and Spence as they were just rookies and seem to be well on their way to being good starters.
