The undervalued aces

Zimmermann, Hamels, Verlander, Strasburg showing so far this may have been the way to go instead of going young aces early on. We'll see how this lasts though it's only April.

Why is JV and his 5.79 era on this list?

Because so far he's doing decently outside that one game of 7 runs. Maybe not him. But so far it's looking like pitchers in the 3rd-7th rounds are outperforming their value ranking whereas the hitters are not in that range.

Verlander hasn't pitched at an ace level since 2012 (maybe 2013).
