There are roughly 112 more days until the season starts and that means we have time for a new team every three days to discuss.

I will, as I find things, add to these threads, but I am, by in large, not interested in every team.

Feel free to join in now, later in the off-season, and during the season. I fully expect people to make their own threads about anything they want, so this is NOT an attempt to consolidate.

The first few posts will be questions or requests for predictions on stats or whatnot - depending on the team. Sorry if I visit your favorite team last. This means the first few posts, unless someone jumps in will look like me talking to myself. Please answer whatever you can, it's for fun.

This thread is for me to post the links to each team. The first team discussed will be the defending champs. The next thread will NOT be the Heat or any other team LeBron or Melo may go, as their moves will affect the polls.

It will be quick and painless.

I did this for the NFL, too. There have been steady number of participants for most beyond the top four. Obviously the top four will have a lot more.

No, it'll be the OKC Thunder or Indianapolis Pacers or the like. It is not a ranking. I just don't want to bunch people to predict that the Heat are going to go to the Finals thinking that he is going to come back but then not be able change their vote if he goes somewhere else. It is not very scientific and of course it is biased by homers/haters, but I would like it to be as close to representative as people really feel. I can't wait for closer to the season because then all the threads would be taking up space at the same time. I am spreading them out for a reason.
