Must be "an outsider" to the NFL... both Steelers and Ravens still had top 5 defenses (points or yards)from 2008 to 2011 seasons... Steelers even for 2012.

Last 17 games... Steelers hold 9-8 advantage and only 3 games decided by more than 1 score. Met 2 times in the playoffs.

Seahawks/49ers not many of the games have been close for last 5-6 years. Was a good story for 2 years. Nothing to the games this year and with Harbaugh leaving doubt that rivalry has intensity of what it was before.

Agreed. That rivalry is fading fast. Pittsburgh and Baltimore is still one of the best ones currently. They sincerely hate each other and want to beat each other up and the games are always played with passion.
